Stemming from a revolutionary artistic movement in the early XXᵉ century, cubist painting created a tidal wave within the artist community. It was essentially driven by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque.
Characterized by the deconstruction of forms and the use of multiple perspectives, cubist painting overturns traditional codes of representation.
