Born in 1982
The story begins in classic fashion at the end of the 80s: a child loves drawing and enjoys endlessly reproducing his favorite Club Dorothée comics and manga. Asterix, Tintin, Dragon Ball, Lucky Luke, Knights of the Zodiac, Olive and Tom, etc., all appear in Wile's first sketchbooks. And beyond awakening your nostalgia, these details are important for what's to come 😉
In his teens, his passion for graffiti continued unabated, and expanded with the discovery of graffiti. For years, the artist painted in vacant lots or in his improvised studio. At the same time, he studied graphic arts, honing his drawing skills and perfecting his lettering. Wile began to imagine his first characters. Little by little, he ventured onto canvas, and his first gallery show soon followed.
After an artistic break, Wile returned to the forefront with new characters: the "Wileys". Concealed and interwoven in a cheerful world full of positive symbols, the Wileys' sole mission is to attract sympathy.
In the midst of a turbulent world, the artist simply wishes to convey positive energy and a message of peace. His artworks are there to convey joy without intellectual discourse and, above all, without snobbery.
