Born in 1979

Tanc lives and works in Paris. With his roots in graffiti, his work is characterized by spontaneity of line and impulsive, instinctive movement. Since street art is ephemeral, the action is more important than the result, and this philosophy is reflected in his canvases.

As a composer who also works as a visual artist, certain notions of experimental music are undeniably present in his work.

There's an obsession with rhythm, an impulse. Tanc does not seek perfection, but rather the acceptance of randomness. His works are striking for their intensity, musicality and vibrancy of color.
