Nasty

Nasty

Born in 1974

Nasty is a key figure in the Paris graffiti scene. He started out in 1988 and soon made a name for himself painting colorful frescoes on subways. After joining the AEC (Artiste en Cavale) collective in 1990, he exhibited for the first time in Paris in 1992.

In his exhibitions, Nasty uses the famous enamel plaques of the Paris metro, which he has been appropriating for the past fifteen years. He also uses subway maps, perpetuating the original spirit of graffiti.

At the same time, he has taken part in numerous advertising projects (1664, Mercedes, Bnp Paribas, Coca-Cola's Burn, Bic, Nestlé...) and in the world of "artoys": Kidrobot and Toy2R in Hong Kong.
