Golif and us, it's a story that started 7 years ago. When you collaborate with an artist who doesn't live nearby, you sometimes want to share more. So we decided to do what we did in Nice in 2021: offer him an artist residency, but this time in Aix-en-Provence.
He leaves his studio, stimulating his creation. We plunge into the heart of his painting, his desires and inspirations.
He arrived on April 25. Everything was ready: a 280m2 studio overlooking Sainte-Victoire, a rooftop apartment in the heart of the old town, dozens of blank canvases, paint and a compressor, among other things.
He's rented a bike to explore the Sainte Victoire and the surrounding area. He takes photos, soaking up our South. It inspires him, giving him new themes and the colors of Provence.
Spending three weeks with the Austrian graffiti star is a privilege. To allow him to awaken a new poetry within himself is an honor.
