Collective street art exhibition& off-site event

"Cargaison" is first and foremost a desire to reconnect with the history of Galerie Le Container.
Born in shipping containers, the gallery initially organized traveling street art exhibitions in its containers.
In partnership with Les Allées Provençales and with the agreement of the Mairie d'Aix-en-Provence, Aix-en-Provence is now able to reach out to the public and democratize urban and contemporary art.
From October 11 to 14, a container takes up residence in the Allées Provençales, on the esplanade Cézanne, on the Rotonde side.
Each day, a street artist from the gallery is invited to create a fresco on one side of the container
Inside, an extract from the "Cargaison" exhibition is unveiled.
For this exhibition, the canvas is exchanged for real pieces of container sheet metal: an original and exclusive urban support that the gallery has provided to its artists.
The complete exhibition will be on view the following week at the gallery on rue Granet, and will close on Saturday October 21.
"Cargaison" is the DNA, values and audacity that have characterized Galerie Le Container for the past 7 years. All concentrated in 15 days, so don't miss it! 🙂
