LA GÉNÈSE
La galerie est née en 2016 dans des containers de transport maritime, concept imaginé par Déborah Bosseaux et Clément Dorance, passionnés et professionnels de l'art contemporain. Pendant 3 années, elle voyage de ville en ville et fait découvrir le Street Art aux amateurs initiés et novices. L’intérieur des containers, transformé en galerie d’art, abrite une exposition d’art urbain et contemporain. Les parois extérieures des containers se recouvrent progressivement durant chaque exposition de graffs, tags, collages, pochoirs… des artistes exposés. Chaque exposition devient à elle-seule une véritable oeuvre d’art architecturale et monumentale en plein cœur de la ville.
The gallery was born in 2016 in containers of maritime transport traveling from city to city in France and abroad. The concept was imagined and carried by Déborah Bosseaux and Clément Dorance, passionate and professionals of the contemporary art. During 3 years, they introduces Street Art to the public. The interior of the containers is transformed into an art gallery and presents an exhibition of urban and contemporary art. The outer walls of the containers gradually overlap during each exhibition of graffiti, tags, collages, stencils ... exhibited artists. The exhibition itself becomes a veritable architectural and monumental work of art in the heart of the city.
LA SÉDENTARISATION
En 2019, la galerie grandit et ouvre sa première galerie sédentaire dans le quartier des antiquaires de Nice, secteur en plein renouveau !
En travaux depuis plusieurs années, un coup de jeune et un vent d’art contemporain redynamisent ce village fédérant une centaine d'antiquaires, brocanteurs, galeristes, décorateurs et artisans d'art répartis entre les rues Antoine Gautier, Emmanuel Philibert, Catherine Ségurane, Martin Seytour, Foresta, les Puces de Nice... Un village unique en France, le deuxième après Saint-Ouen à Paris.
In 2019, the gallery settle in the antiques district of Nice, a sector in full revival! In work for several years, a rejuvenation and a wind of contemporary art revitalize this village bringing together a hundred antique dealers, second-hand dealers, gallery owners, decorators and craftsmen. They are all spread between the streets Antoine-Gautier, Emmanuel Philibert, Catherine Ségurane, Martin-Seytour, Foresta, the flea market of Nice ... A unique village in France, the second after the one of Saint-Ouen in Paris.
La deuxième galerie voit le jour en mai 2021 en plein centre historique d'Aix-en-Provence. Dans une rue piétonne, la jolie verrière baigne les oeuvres d'une lumière naturelle et invite à visiter ce nouvel espace d'exposition.

Suite au succès de cette nouvelle galerie, au développement du site Internet mais aussi à la multiplication des foires auxquelles nous participons, la décision a été prise de fermer la galerie Niçoise fin 2022.
The second gallery was born in May 2021 in the historic center of Aix-en-Provence. In a pedestrian street, the artworks are bathed in natural light through the beautiful glass roof. Exhibitions travel from one gallery to the other. When they are at the same time, they are complementary.

LES FONDATEURS
Deborah Bosseaux
After studying art history, Deborah first worked in a national museum in Paris for 2 years. She then became Artistic Director of a network of international art galleries for 4 years and finally head of a traditional art gallery specializing in Street Art. In addition to her professional experience, she has lived in England and South America.
Après des études d’histoire de l’art, Déborah travaille d’abord au sein d’un musée national à Paris pendant 2 ans. Elle devient ensuite Directrice artistique d’un réseau de galeries d’art international pendant 4 ans puis responsable d’une galerie d’art traditionnelle spécialisée dans le Street Art. En marge de son expérience professionnelle, elle a vécu en Angleterre et en Amérique du Sud.
Clément Dorance
Clement mixed studies of architecture and international trade. He works in Marketing and Communication internationally (USA, Belgium, Monaco) before falling by chance in the world of contemporary art ... a revelation! He joins the team in charge of the development abroad of a network of art galleries, particularly in the United States, Asia and the Middle East.
Clément a mêlé études d’architecture et de commerce international. Il travaille dans le Marketing et la Communication à l’international (Etats-Unis, Belgique, Monaco) avant de tomber par hasard dans le milieu de l’art contemporain… une révélation ! Il intègre l’équipe en charge du développement à l’étranger d’un réseau de galeries d’art notamment aux Etats-Unis, en Asie et au Moyen-Orient.
